A Most Dangerous Idiot Savant: The State is Criminally Insane by Bill Buppert | ZeroGov

“Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.”

If government had a working axiom, it would be this: To pursue and defend mediocrity wherever it is found and to institute it where it is absent.

The larger a government, the more idiotic and destructive its behavior appears to both the casual and educated observer. Historical hindsight provides legions of examples of government not only doing stupid things daily and reinforcing failure but creating advance extinction events that spell their doom as they happily march to their own funeral.

Police: Woman In Custody In Connection With Chelsea Stroller-Grabbing Incident

Originally posted on CBS New York:

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) — Police said they have someone in custody in connection with what they’re calling an attempted kidnapping in Manhattan earlier this week.

A 43-year-old nanny was pushing an 8-month-old boy in a stroller on Thursday, when a woman came up to talk to them, police told 1010 WINS. The woman then tried to grab the stroller from her, police said.

The incident happened around 5:30 p.m. on Eighth Avenue near 17th Street, sources told CBS 2.

Authorities said a bystander intervened to foil the abduction attempt.

“She was saying, “‘You’re a liar! These are my babies!”’ said UPS driver William Marte, who was nearby. He noticed the struggle and stepped in to help.

“I told the lady, ‘Let it go – just keep going,”’ and she did, he said.

The woman was gone when police arrived. They found the suspect after putting up fliers with a sketch.

Marte, 51, said he “did what…

Vile NY Times op-ed tries to link white supremacists to veterans

How low will liberal progressives go to attack our nation’s veterans? It seems to be a bottomless pit.

In a vile and despicable opinion piece in the New York Times (of course), writer Kathleen Belew attempts to link white supremacists and their hate groups to veterans.

Ms. Belew asserts, “When Frazier Glenn Miller shot and killed three people in Overland Park, Kan., on Sunday, he did so as a soldier of the white power movement: a groundswell that united Klansmen, neo-Nazis and other fringe elements after the Vietnam War, crested with the bombing of the Oklahoma City federal building in 1995, and remains a diminished but potent threat today.”

If Ms. Belew, as part of the progressive agenda, wants to link veterans returning home from combat to fringe hate groups, to what does she link the New Black Panthers?

In a blatant attack specifically…

The flyer reportedly distributed on Passover to Jews in eastern Ukraine, calling on Jews to register with authorities or be deported.

Bloomberg – The Jewish community of the east Ukrainian city of Donetsk asked for additional police protection after anti-Semitic pamphlets were distributed in the region, where the government has been battling separatists.

“Someone tried to use the Jewish community as an instrument of this conflict,” Chief Rabbi Pinchas Vyshedski told reporters in Donetsk today, adding that he asked for added security at Jewish cultural centers. “They haven’t done it yet because are too busy” dealing with other developments in the city, Vyshedski said. In a statement yesterday he said the incident “smells like provocation.”

VIDEO DHS Says Your Children Could Be Terrorists – Rise of the Control Grid – Fabricating Fear and Injustice

April 19, 2014

The White House counter-terrorism chief who suggested that confrontational children could become terrorists is unfortunately just another example of a government official abusing “terrorism” rhetoric.

Earlier this week, Senate majority leader Harry Reid (D-Nv.) called Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy and his supporters “domestic terrorists.”

“I repeat: what happened there was domestic terrorism,” he added.

Similarly, back in August, Judicial Watch obtained a Dept. of Defense training manual which lists those who embrace “individual liberties” and respect “states’ rights,” among other characteristics, as potential “extremists” who are also likely to be members of “hate groups.”

The manual also describes the Founding Fathers who sought independence from British rule as a historical example of extremism.

And in 2012, the Department of Homeland Security characterized Americans who are “suspicious of centralized federal authority” and supporters of “individual liberty”…

Body found near highway identified as missing Massachusetts boy, 5

Originally posted on FOX13Now.com:

CNN

(CNN) — A body found off a central Massachusetts highway has been positively identified as that of Jeremiah Oliver, a 5-year-old boy who was missing for months before police were alerted.

Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.’s announcement on Saturday wasn’t surprising: One day before, Early had said the body wrapped in a blanket and stuffed inside a bag matched the height and weight of Jeremiah.

Still, how he got there and even how he died is still unknown. The district attorney did not detail a cause of death Saturday, explaining the child’s autopsy is not yet complete.

The case raised questions about the state’s role as it relates to Jeremiah’s care, with Massachusetts Department of Children and Families Commissioner Olga Roche admitting that there had been “a serious failure.”

“We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Jeremiah Oliver” Roche said Saturday…
