One person who lives near the crime scene on East Grand Street told Newswatch 16 that he is too worried about his family’s safety to talk on camera, but he and other older neighbors are terrified after the home invasion and killing last week.
“We never thought we’d ever put a security system in our house, but we did. It was one of the best things we ever did,” the man said.
