A bank robbery in Dallas County ended in a standoff in the suspect’s home.
It all started around 4 p.m. Friday afternoon when authorities said a man entered the Raccoon Valley Bank in Minburn. They said he displayed a weapon, demanded money and then drove away with an unknown amount of cash.
The suspect was later identified as 25-year-old Caleb Anderson.
Dallas County deputies said shortly after 10 p.m. they found Anderson’s vehicle at his house in Perry.
After hours of negotiation, authorities entered the house and found Anderson dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Investigators said they are still trying to locate the stolen money and the weapon used in the robbery.
