UPDATE: Leslie County Sheriff Deputy Sam Mullins told CNN the Facebook photo had nothing to do with the woman receiving help. He said a call was made to 911 in which dispatch heard screaming in the background and something about a gun before the line went dead. Later a second call, from the husband, came in. He said he’d beaten his wife and that she needed help, Mullins said. The woman did post a photo of herself on Facebook asking for help, but Mullins said no one called police as a result of the photo.
